Who doesn’t love tuna salad on a bagel?
It’s one of our go-to meals, but we decided to try a fun twist on the classic version.
We’ve added some celery for a fun crunch, onion for its fresh zinginess and apple for an unexpected burst of sweetness.
It may sound crazy, that is until you taste it and realize… it just works.
When we’re having a bagel or sandwich for lunch we like to add a little side salad, or heck, why not just put your bagel on top, that’s what we did!
Spinach is a leafy green packed with goodness and a dollop of kimchi means your gut is going to love you.
Oh and it’s salty and sour, the perfect accompaniment to the sweet apple!
We top it all off with a pinch of turmeric for its potent anti-inflammatory benefits.
These ingredients are meant to be and your taste buds are going to go wild!

Tuna Salad With Apples And Celery Recipe:

- 2 bagels lightly toasted
- 1 can tuna drained
- 2 tablespoons avocado mayo
- 1/2 chopped small red onion
- 1/2 chopped golden delicious apple
- 1 celery stalk chopped
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- grass fed butter or dairy free substitute like Earth's balance
- Sea salt and pepper to taste

Butter your bagels once toasted.

With your Earth spread.

Mix your tuna, mayo, onion, apple, celery and a little salt and pepper together in a bowl.

Apply generously to each bagel half.

Sprinkle a pinch of turmeric on top of each one.
